All students will receive a superb, bat-tastic resin bust sculpted by Gabe Perna and produced by Gary Haven’s Resin Dust Kits, as well as a set of quality paints and brushes provided by Reaper Miniatures; all to keep and take home! Modelers need only to bring themselves as all other modeling supplies will be provided! This year’s hand-painting class is designed to allow modelers maximum exposure in simulating subtle airbrushing effects, but without the airbrush! You’ll learn how to master the effects of dry brushing neutral colors (i.e. blacks, browns and tans) to enhance subtle, textured details as well as learning sponge-painting techniques to achieve superior blending effects. You’ll also be trained to master the look of realistic flesh via the pastel stick shading and masking process.
